Nolbert Muhumuza
Founder & CEO
Nolbert has been full-time working on the development and promotion of gasifier stoves in Uganda since 2009. He served the Uganda clean cooking sector as the Chairman of BEETA, General Secretary of UNREEEA as well as the vice Chair of UNACC between 2014 – 2018. Nolbert is also the Founder of Giving Hope Foundation.
Sembatya Mohamad
Product Development Manager
Sembatya “also known as Saddam” has been actively involved in the development of various versions of TLUD micro-gasifier stoves in Uganda since their introduction in 2009. Saddam is passionate about clean cooking innovations, supporting small production businesses. Muhammed also a poultry farmer.
Irene Zawedde
Sales & Customer Service
Irene has more than 8 years’ working experience in the renewable energy sector. She holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Irene brings experience in project management, sales & marketing and customer service. She is a dynamic, creative and service-focused individual.
Jimmy Tumwine
Production Manager
Jimmy has gained great hands-on training and experience producing Awamu stoves, carrying out demonstrations and offering after-sales support to end users. Jimmy has worked with Awamu since 2013 and has over the years gain amazing production skills and techniques in sheet metal.
